They can drag and drop bills on a pre-configured icon for Puget Sound billing, and DropChute transfers them directly, without going through any servers on the Internet. It authenticates deliveries as well, making sure that patient records are kept private. "When I provide my clients a simple and secure way to accommodate billing transfers, they’re happy—they’re complying with a much stricter standard of security now required of medical facilities, yet they’re not having to take any extra steps," Fournette said. Her transfers to clearinghouses are also confidential, so the entire process protects patient privacy. As she grows the business, Fournette finds DropChute’s security is a real selling point. |
